The purpose of publishing research papers, in a Series, is to convey and disseminate those papers with results that have a more immediate application in practice in the field. In this way, it aims to shorten the path between Research and its transformation into technologies, for faster use by the coffee sector.

The purpose of the Series is to expand the dissemination of published research, in Congresses, journals, theses, etc., and even of works still in progress, anticipating already conclusive and useful results, to TA technicians and producers. At the same time, it broadens the target audience, reaching those who normally do not participate in more technical events. Publicity also values the work of researchers, who will have their efforts translated into satisfaction, given the possibility of putting their dedication to practical use.

In the Applied Coffee Research Series, the work will be presented in the form of an expanded abstract, showing the conditions and methodologies of the studies and their results and conclusions. The final highlight of the publication is important, which includes a text on the practical effect of the research, in addition to illustrations, which help to visualize the results.
